About Nina
Nina Charley is a dynamic community leader, speaker, and advocate committed to advancing equity, mental health, and social justice. She has spoken on national panels for organizations such as Amnesty International and Unsinkable, where she has used her voice to challenge systemic injustice and spotlight lived experiences that are too often overlooked.
As Co-Chair of the Ottawa Black Diaspora Coalition, Nina plays a key role in leading grassroots mobilization, public education initiatives, and policy advocacy aimed at dismantling anti-Black racism in Ottawa and beyond.
In addition to her on-the-ground leadership, Nina leverages her digital platform to raise awareness, build community, and amplify marginalized voices. Her content reaches and resonates with diverse audiences, fostering important conversations around identity, healing, and social change.
