About Liv

Liv Miller is a 23-year old mental health advocate and youth speaker from a rural community outside of the Haldimand Tract near Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada. She completed her undergraduate degree with distinction from University of Waterloo in 2023 and holds a certification in Positive Psychology from University of Pennsylvania.

Liv has been open about their journey with mental health as a young adult. They have discovered through lived experiences how important it is to take care of yourself and seek help when you need it, after struggling to graduate high school and navigating various mental illnesses. As the co-founder of a provincial-award winning mental health awareness initiative as seen on CTV News, CBC Radio and more, called Bridges of Hope, Liv's unique experiences have led her to begin telling her story to young people all across North America.

When she’s not engaging in community, you can find her on a nature walk looking for birds, taking care of her own bird at home named Tilly, playing an instrument or spending time with family and friends. You can stay connected with Liv by following @lifelessonswithliv on Instagram!
