Laetitia Satam
Director
Driven by the passion to ensure equitable mental health for all Canadians, but especially members of remote communities and marginalized populations, Laetitia began volunteering with Kids Help Phone, the largest provider of e-mental health services in Canada when she was just 12 years old. Today, she sits on their Board of Directors, and has been appointed to the Campaign Cabinet, where she worked to fundraise $300 million for the largest mental health movement in Canadian history. Laetitia uses her voice to advocate for youth mental mental health on national platforms, and looks forward to promoting the healing nature of Storytelling with Unsinkable.
Understanding the holistic value of health, Laetitia combined her interests in health and wellness by pursuing a Nutrition degree at the University of Alberta. She is the team lead for the Golden Bears and Panda Nutrition Team, where she works to spread nutrition information to athletes. She is excited to work with Unsinkable to further advocate for the interplay between physical activity, nutrition, and mental health.
In her free time, you can find Laetitia baking, curled up with a good book, or soaking up the great outdoors!
