About Kenny
Kenny M'Pindou is a Canadian bobsleigh athlete with his sights set on representing Canada at the 2026 Winter Olympics. A driven and disciplined competitor. His athletic journey is marked by a relentless work ethic and a commitment to overcoming adversity, including significant injuries and the financial challenges of competing in a self-funded sport.
Kenny’s path to bobsleigh began through his background in high-performance athletics, where he honed his strength and speed. His rise in the sport has been underscored by his ability to push through setbacks, including knee injuries that required intensive rehabilitation.
Beyond his athletic career, Kenny is a passionate advocate for the stuttering community. Having grown up with a speech impediment, he understands the challenges that come with finding one’s voice. Rather than allowing stuttering to define him, Kenny has embraced it as part of his identity and has become a vocal leader in raising awareness and supporting young people who stutter. He founded the Alliance of Young Stutterers of Alberta with the goal of creating a supportive space for youth and young adults to build confidence, connect with others, and discover their potential.
Kenny is also public speaker and ambassador for organizations such as iStar, and Classroom Champions, where he shares his story of resilience and self-acceptance. He has spoken at schools, community events, and corporate gatherings, inspiring others with his message of perseverance and the importance of embracing one’s unique journey.
In addition to his athletic and advocacy work, Kenny is building a personal brand that reflects his core values of authenticity, community, and empowerment.
Kenny’s story is one of determination, resilience, and purpose. Whether he’s preparing for the next bobsleigh race or speaking to young people about the power of self-acceptance, Kenny M'Pindou continues to inspire others to face challenges head-on and pursue their dreams with courage and conviction.
