Want to tell your story?

Unsinkable Stories: Storytelling Development Program

An empowering 8-week virtual program designed to help you explore, craft, and share your lived experiences with mental health. Through guided workshops, one-to-one mentorship, and peer support, storytellers like you will develop the confidence and skills to tell their stories in impactful ways, whether through writing, spoken word, video, or art — it’s your choice. Finally, the Unsinkable Stories program will culminate in a live in-person Storytelling Showcase giving you a chance to share what you’ve created!

This upcoming cohort will exclusively feature youth storytellers (age 18-26) from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Interested Storytellers must reside in Toronto.

Four young women sitting at a table, engaging with a tablet, in a casual setting, smiling and interacting.
A young person with short black hair, rainbow face paint across the cheeks, wearing a white shirt and denim overalls, sitting in front of a red brick wall next to a rusted water pipe with a pink cleaning cloth wrapped around it.
A person sitting outdoors at night, wearing a black Adidas cap, gray shirt, and multiple bracelets, writing or drawing in a notebook.

This cohort is open to youth aged 18-26 from the 2SLGBTQIA+ with lived experiences of mental health challenges who want to use storytelling as a tool for healing and advocacy. No prior storytelling experience is required—just a willingness to explore and share your journey in a supportive space.
